(3) when electric generator are used for emergency lighting, the total time for generator start-up and power conversion should not be longer than 15s. Dual-power automatic transfer switch should be selected“Mains-generator conversion” special-purpose.
(4) when the low-voltage distribution system of the substation is a single-bus section operation and a bus-connected switch is installed, the total action time of the dual-power automatic transfer switch should be coordinated with the setting value of the action time set by the bus-connected switch in the substation, should be greater than the contact switch action time of 0.5-1 seconds. The action time of the bus-tie switch in the substation is mostly 2.5 s, and the total action time of the dual power automatic transfer switch should be more than 3 s.
