    LMS1-LA Series Manual

LMS1-LA as our ingenuity research and development of a new generation of dual power automatic transfer switch, in the performance and technology to achieve a major breakthrough. The product provides 63A, 125A, 250A, 400A, 630A and other rated current specifications, whether it is the continuous operation of massive servers in data centers, or the uninterrupted power supply of life support equipment in hospital ICU wards, the stable operation of elevator and fire fighting system in high-rise buildings can fully meet the power demand in different scenarios.

Its switching speed can be called industry-leading, switching time only 10ms-50ms, with millisecond response speed to complete power conversion. In the data center, the LMS1-LA automatic transfer switch can switch to the standby power supply in a very short period of time in the face of sudden power failure, avoiding data loss and system collapse caused by momentary power failure; in the hospital environment, the LMS1-LA automatic transfer switch can switch to the standby power supply in a very short period of time, millisecond-level power switching can guarantee the stable operation of precision instruments and first-aid equipment in operating rooms, and escort the safety of patients. When applied to high-rise buildings, fast power changeover ensures smooth parking of elevators, normal operation of fire fighting systems and improved building Factor of safety.
The transfer switch is composed of a high performance excitation contactor and an intelligent controller. When working, the electromagnetic coil produces a strong and stable attraction to drive the switching action to ensure the instant completion of power switching. This feature not only effectively guarantees the rapid switching of the power supply when the equipment is powered off, but also realizes the seamless connection of the power supply, which provides a reliable and solid power guarantee for the equipment with strict requirements for power continuity.

LMS1-SA is suitable for AC 400V and below, the rated frequency is 50Hz. In the power system, the controller and transfer switch can quickly transfer the load from the main power supply to the standby power supply when there is phase loss, overvoltage, etc.

    • Start generator: When fault occurs in the normal power, this port will connect after delaying some time.
    • Fire-fighting: Connect the fire-fighting port, double disconnecting light is on, the ATS double disconnect. Remove the connection, push the automatic/manual pushbutton to reset.
    • Fire-fighting feedback: When ATS is in double-disconnecting state, the fire-fighting port connects.
    • Normal close: When the normal power of ATS is in closing state, closing signal without power is output from this port.
    • Standby close: When the standby power of ATS is in closing state, closing signal without power is output from this port.
    • Normal earth wire: When ATS are 3 phases, the normal earth wire is connected into this port.
    Frequently Asked Questions
Q What is the rated voltage and frequency of the LMS1-SA Automatic Transfer Switch?
The LMS1-SA series is suitable for AC 400V and below, with a rated frequency of 50Hz. The rated working voltage is AC 230V (2P) or AC 400V, and the rated insulation voltage (Ui) is AC 690V.
Q What models are available in the LMS1-SA series and what are their current ranges?
    The LMS1-SA series includes four models: LMS1-63SA (16~63A), LMS1-125SA (20~125A), LMS1-250SA (160~250A), and LMS1-630SA (315~630A), covering a wide range of load requirements.
Q What pole configurations are available for the LMS1-SA transfer switch?
All four models in the LMS1-SA series are available in 2P, 3P, and 4P configurations, providing flexibility for different electrical system setups.
Q What is the electrical and mechanical life of the LMS1-SA series?
For models LMS1-63SA, LMS1-125SA, and LMS1-250SA, the electrical life is 6,000 operations and the mechanical life is 20,000 operations. For the LMS1-630SA model, the electrical life is 1,000 operations and the mechanical life is 4,000 operations.
Q Does the LMS1-SA ATS support fire-fighting mode and how does it work?
Yes. When the fire-fighting port is connected, the double disconnecting indicator light turns on and the ATS performs a double disconnect. To reset, simply remove the connection and press the automatic/manual pushbutton. Additionally, a fire-fighting feedback signal is output when the ATS is in the double-disconnecting state.
Q What triggers the LMS1-SA to transfer from the main power supply to the standby power supply?
The LMS1-SA controller continuously monitors the main power supply. When abnormal conditions such as phase loss or overvoltage are detected, the controller and transfer switch automatically transfer the load to the standby power supply to ensure uninterrupted power delivery.
